Our Agents
Our 150 agents come from a diversity of backgrounds, cultures, and countries, as do our clients. Some agents wear three-piece suits, while others dress very casually. Many have impressive histories, college degrees, are fluent in several languages, or are well traveled. All of our agents are licensed, trained Real Estate professionals who know the rental market well and have access to our entire inventory of available apartments. Founded
by Jerry Weinstein, Manhattan Apartments, Inc. has been finding homes for
people in New York City since 1984. As a native New Yorker, Jerry was very
aware of how difficult it was to rent or buy an apartment here. He created
Manhattan Apartments, Inc. to provide a service that would address and
resolve the difficulties that people encounter when looking for a place
to live. The business of the company is to offer access to every apartment
available, inform people of the apartments that are within their price
range, and guide them through the documentation required to qualify for
specific apartments.
Jerry's vision was to create a beautiful, centrally located marketplace with expertly trained agents who would educate each apartment seeker and walk them through the, sometimes complicated, rental process; and above all, to make the process a pleasant and exciting experience.
His vision came together in a very large, successful brokerage house. Manhattan Apartments, Inc. rents over 5,000 apartments a year to over 8,000 satisfied clients.
