Richard Zeltner is a skilled, professional leader. He has a results oriented approach to any project or transaction and his experience serves him to, “get the job done”, quickly and efficiently. His business acumen is tempered by his interest in others, a capacity for understanding and a willingness to go the extra step for those who engage his service.
A native New Yorker, Richard knows every inch of Manhattan and has a visceral understanding of how the city breathes and moves. He earned his B.S. in Marketing and Journalism from New York University. For 20 years, as Senior V.P., Director of Strategic Planning at a major ad agency, Richard was in constant communication with both the consumer and corporate world. He channeled what he gleaned from them into brand and marketing products. His mass market services targeted professionals and corporations that yielded award winning advertising, sales and profits.
A man of many talents, Richard recently wrote an award winning song. After 500.000 people voted, he won a full page ad in Vibe magazine — and this was not the fist award he has won. Entrepreneurial by nature, Richard learned everything he needed to know about succeeding in the music business on his own. He plans to open the Hip-Hop Academy where he can teach others how to break into this highly competitive industry.
Richard’s wife has been a highly successful, real estate salesperson since 1988. Her discussions about the creativity that went into each deal fascinated him. He bought and sold several properties of his own properties, and was involved in renting out individual units as well. In early 2008, he became a full time salesperson at Manhattan Apartments Inc. His background in advertising and marketing and his love for dealing with and helping people, made him a natural. It was an ideal career change.
A skillful negotiator, with an in-depth understanding of the deal process, Richard is a strong ally for those who are looking to sell, buy or rent an apartment in New York City. Aside from a passion for history, journalism and philosophy, Richard enjoys the theatre, traveling and reading and he loves his Giants and Yankees.
